The Marsellaise style belt is known to be the safest of all freediving belts.  

The small diameter holes and heavy duty buckle allowing a quick release with minimal buckle re-engaging for quick releases in a pinch.

The flexible rubber fits well to the body, minimizing slippage while maximizing comfort.

The roller buckle, while always releasing on demand, will not open when dragged past rocks, reef, etc.
