3mm Benthos Wetsuit

BENTHOS from the Greek noun βένθος "depths of the sea".  Organisms that live or hunt near the bottom of the seafloor or the benthic zone.

BENTHOSTM Open Cell Wetsuits by HammerHead Spearguns are specifically designed for prying benthic zones across marine and freshwater environments.  Generous Armourflex™ construction stops rips and tears on knees, forearms, and crotch areas.

Each Benthos™ Wetsuit is anatomically cut for superior performance with hand glued and blind-stitched seams making them impervious to cold water intrusion.  Full lycra edging around the wrists, ankles, farmer-john, and hood complete the professional long lasting finish.

Farmer John style pant and attached jacket to hood further increase warmth and comfort.  A full-sized chest-loading pad and the utmost in durability makes BENTHOSTM Open Cell Wetsuits the ideal choice for harsh use, rocks, and abuse.

I used the HammerHead Benthos wetsuit both in California and in local waters here in Hawaii. I was most impressed with how comfortable and mobile I felt in the water given its thickness. Naturally I was very toasty warm for the entire duration of the dive. It was also easy to take on and off even though it is open cell. Highly recommended!
